It's all about taking a stand and fighting to protect our natural environment and our volunteers play an important role at NWT.
Working with the Native Woodland Trust has opened up a vast number of possibilities for me: plenty of activities to choose from, get to spend time in the great outdoors, and I'm learning so much about our nature. I'm delighted to contribute to this great cause.

"Participating in the Trees for Communities initiative has been incredibly fulfilling. Planting native trees in our neighborhood not only beautified the area but also brought our community closer together. It's amazing to see the immediate positive impact on the environment and know we're contributing to a greener future for Ireland."

Being part of the Trees for Secondary Schools program has been an eye-opening experience. Planting native trees at our school has not only enhanced our environment but also taught us valuable lessons about biodiversity and conservation. It's inspiring to see students actively involved in making a positive impact on our planet."

"Taking part in the Wych Hunt has been an amazing experience. Identifying and tagging veteran Wych Elm trees gave me a sense of contributing to something greater. It's fulfilling to know that our efforts are helping to preserve a vital part of Ireland's natural heritage for future generations."
